The Academy is Selecting Candidates for the 2018 E.C Budget Year at the 8th National Youth Sports Assessment Competition

The Academy’s selection of candidates for the 2018 budget year across various sports disciplines is taking place during the 8th National Youth Sports Assessment Competition, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Sports in collaboration with the Southern Ethiopia Region under the theme “Developing Young Athletes for a Winning Nation,” held in Wolaita Sodo City from January 27, 2017 E.C. to February 5, 2017 E.C.
The Academy’s selection process involves coaches, sports professionals, medical experts, and researchers from both the Addis Ababa Campus and the Assela Campus (the Tirunesh Dibaba Athletics Training Center). The Academy is well-known for recruiting and training young athletes through similar talent-scouting competitions in the past, many of whom have gone on to represent their country in continental and international competitions, bringing pride to Ethiopia.
